I have worked in the medical field as a residential support staff member for 10 years. On top of this, I also became my father’s caregiver in 2015. At that time, he was experiencing kidney failure and losing his vision. Working in the residential home while taking care of my father was a humbling experience, I knew I could continue to be of service if I pursued nursing. When my father passed away in 2022, I made the decision to go back to nursing school to further my education.
I knew I wanted to attend Hondros College of Nursing’s Practical Nursing Program and start my career as a nurse because of my familiarity with the college. To those considering furthering their education in healthcare, I recommend that you take those next steps today! Time is passing by each day, why wait?
