Working at Hondros I get to meet an abundance of driven people from different walks of life all with the same end goal. I am thrilled I get to work with so many thoughtful individuals at Hondros who care about the future of the healthcare field. Hondros truly works together.
As an initial stepping stone in higher education for our students, my goal is to be a welcoming resource so that students and colleagues always feel comfortable when reaching out. I am intentional about creating an environment where people feel safe, comfortable, and seen.
In student services, I have the privilege to interact and work with future nurses who are making life-changing decisions. They are striving to accomplish their goals and are determined to finish strong. I witness their journey from the beginning to the end and I am grateful for the stories I’ve heard, the obstacles we’ve overcome, and the wins that we celebrate.
The best advice I can give is to breathe and remember your "Why". Why you started, why you are continuing, and why it matters. Sometimes a reminder is what we need to P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens) through.
When I am not thinking of ways to enhance the Hondros experience for everyone, I love spending time with family, having “auntie day” with my nieces and nephew, serving in my church ministry, and enjoying good music and food.
