I first attended nursing school right out of high school while on a volleyball scholarship. Unfortunately, I had to drop out due to life circumstances at the time involving mental health that kept me from performing at my best. Now, eight years later I have decided it is time to do something for myself and go back to nursing school.
I had a friend who initially told me about Hondros College of Nursing. As a graduate of their nursing program herself, she encouraged me to apply to Hondros when I finally decided to return to the nursing field. As a current stay at home mom to two children, I needed a nursing program that could accommodate my schedule. I discovered that Hondros College of Nursing offers an evening/weekend option. This made it possible for me to continue my education without sacrificing my day-to-day responsibilities. I am extremely blessed for my incredible support system who helped make this opportunity possible. I am truly so thankful to pursue my nursing education.
To those considering a career in nursing or healthcare, make sure to remain organized and prioritize your time wisely. Free time during nursing school is valuable, and it’s important to devote this time for productive study methods to help you get ahead.
