HCN Success Stories

Caregiving is a way of life for me. My zeal and passion to go all out for people made me realize that nursing is my calling. Growing up when my late grandfather was sick, I would pretend to be a doctor and ask him questions. I have always been present when my siblings, relatives, and friends are sick. I go above and beyond in their recovery process by providing the support they need.

Nobody can take away the nursing in me. Nurses play a vital role in healthcare, providing direct care to patients, and advocating for their well-being. I also find purpose-driven work deeply fulfilling. I am here to be a voice for my patients and provide them with quality care to the best of my ability.

When I moved to Ohio I began researching various nursing programs. Then, I stumbled on Hondros College of Nursing. I read about the college and decided to apply, and soon enough I passed my entrance exam!

My advice to someone thinking of starting nursing school is to be prepared for both the good and bad days. To fail is not an ailment, but a part of your nursing journey. Be sure to be up to date with assignments, ready to learn, and positive in your thinking.
