My favorite part about working at Hondros is being surrounded by driven students who are actively working toward their call to service. Every day I witness our students working diligently towards their goal of becoming great nurses who can positively impact their community. Seeing their efforts keeps me motivated. Beyond that, I love how supportive the faculty are and the role models of what it means to be a Hondros Nurse. They are dedicated to our students from day one to graduation and beyond, and their efforts are an inspiration.
Working in the career services department, I have conversations with our students and graduates to help them achieve their goals. I do my best to be a resource to our students by helping with their professional development including resumes, interview preparations, and hosting networking events on campus. I tell everyone that I have the best job on campus—I get to help students find their dream jobs!
My best tip for success while in school is to have a solid support system in place. Life rarely goes as planned and having people who care about you and your goals will help so much.
