I had a surgery that went wrong. After the surgery, I became septic with necrotizing fasciitis and a pseudomonas infection. I spent a long time in the ICU burn unit due to many skin grafts and debridement treatments. The nurses that cared for me were amazing humans. I survived when my family was told I may die. We all account my survival to the nurses. They advocated for me when all odds were against us. My life used to be in finance and insurance, but that all changed. A few of my best friends are nurses, so I decided to make a change.
I chose Hondros for my PN and ADN because the pace of the programs fit my lifestyle better than other schools.
To anyone thinking about starting nursing school, go for it and make the time.
