I love the work we do at Hondros College of Nursing. We have a unique opportunity to help people change their lives.
During my time at Hondros Maumee I’ve had the pleasure of impacting the lives of many amazing individuals who also left a lasting impression on me. I am honored to witness the will, determination, and resilience of our students. To watch the students work so hard and see it pay off in the end is so fulfilling.
I’ve been blessed to work with some of the most caring and experienced individuals throughout many of our campuses. Our teamwork has contributed to the positive culture we have dedicated ourselves to building and maintaining.
Having the experience as a faculty member and now being in academic leadership has contributed to my professional growth in indescribable ways. One thing I am most proud of is our commitment to molding competent, professional nurses who not only critically think and have clinical judgment skills, but also have the heart for nursing.
I enjoy building professional relationships with my students and seeing the pride and excitement when they prove to themselves and others what they are capable of. I value the student “pop ins” to my office just to say hello or update me on their progress.
Every student has the key to success within them and I am proud to play a role in helping them reach it.
My hobbies include singing and dancing. I love music, art, and education. I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I enjoying spending time with family and friends. I have a close relationship with my parents and siblings.
Veda Wright is the Assistant Director of Nursing for the ADN program at the Maumee campus.
