I decided to pursue a career in nursing after working in dietary at a long-term care facility. I enjoy developing relationships with patients and want to have a more hands-on role in the healthcare field. My wife is a nurse and Hondros graduate, and she inspired me to chase my dreams and follow God’s will for my life as a nurse.
I chose Hondros not only because my wife was an alumnus of Hondros, but also because the schedule promotes a school/work/life balance. The faculty are very helpful, and I am enjoying being a Hondros student.
To reach my goals at Hondros, I had to be engaged in my academic pursuits, while collaborating with others and embodying professionalism. Hondros prepares students for what being a nurse is really like.
If you are considering going to nursing school, be prepared to dedicate time to your studies, preparing for a fantastic and fulfilling future as a nurse. This is a choice you won’t regret!
