I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare after working in a heart hospital. This hospital has opened my senses and oriented me towards the path of healthcare. That feeling of knowing you can make someone feel better, even just for a moment, makes it all worth it.
I loved the fact that Hondros College of Nursing offers a flexible program containing a mix of online and in-person classes. This allowed me to balance my work and school life. Hondros has given me the tools I need to build a career for myself. I have learned that patience is key; don’t rush yourself through your education, take it all in day by day.
To those considering pursuing healthcare, I’d say do it! If you have that passion in your heart, be sure to listen to it. Take a leap of faith, and I promise you won’t regret it. You will find that being a part of someone’s healing journey is a blessing to both the patient and you. Be that change, that light or hope people look for when they need quality care.
