I always had a passion for helping and caring for others who are in need. I’ve worked in the healthcare field since 2015 as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and qualified medical aid (QMA). In addition to my classwork, I am currently working for a non-emergency medical transportation company and an assisted living facility.
The decision to attend Hondros College of Nursing was made based on location and the program's flexibility. Hondros College of Nursing was the only school offering a program that accommodated my current day-to-day schedule. In addition, the commute was something that I was willing to do.
To anyone considering nursing or the healthcare field in general, the advice I would give you is that you must remain dedicated and focused. Everything might not go as planned and there will be sacrifices but it in the long run it will be worth it. So, I’d say go for it and try your best!
