My passion for nursing developed when I was a child. My father was a nurse, and I admired the dedication, motivation, and compassion he displayed. My father had a true desire and devotion to help people. He sadly passed away 11 months ago. Now I want him to look down and see me following in his footsteps. I know he is proud! In addition to my father, I also want to be a role model for my daughter and make a positive impact on my patients.
I had picked Hondros College of Nursing because of positive reviews I had heard. The location was also close to home.
My advice for you all is to always try your hardest to get good grades to be successful in the future. Remember to go to your teacher and tutoring sessions when you can. Don’t be afraid to speak up, there are no dumb questions. Try to stay ahead and not fall behind, catching up is hard. It also helps if you get a small study group. You have got this!
