My absolute favorite part about working at Hondros College of Nursing is being able to help our students achieve their dreams. I love that I get to work with such wonderful people, from all walks of life; people who chose our program because they want to want to dedicate their lives to helping others, and to making a positive impact on the world around them.
Many of the students I get to work with have immigrated from other countries and are starting new lives; or single parents balancing a job, school and kids; or people transitioning careers while still working full time. I am grateful that I get to be a small part of these amazing lives, and I am continually inspired the work ethic and dedication I am surrounded by every day.
I have been with Hondros working in admissions for over 3 years now and I can truly say that every faculty member wants the best for our students. And when they leave here, they will be equipped with all the tools necessary to be the best LPN or RN they can be.
When I am not enrolling students, you will find me playing with my 3 dogs, on a run or at a Lagree class.
Marisa Waits is the Sr. Admissions Representative at the Columbus campus.
