I decided to pursue nursing as a career because I enjoy science and helping people. I also wanted to merge my passions for both, and nursing proved to be a perfect fit. I also enjoy learning which is important for a field such as nursing!

I was referred by a friend to Hondros College of Nursing, and I am so glad they did because Hondros has an excellent nursing program!

To anyone considering starting nursing school or working in the healthcare field, be prepared to dedicate yourself to learning the material. It is important to be serious about this program and set aside the necessary time needed to be successful. To reach my goals within this program I had to study and attend all the tutoring sessions I could.

Twiala Carpenter is a student in the Practical Nursing Program at our Bingham Farms campus.
